Bajrović Re-elected to the Position of Vice Governor

The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBiH), at its last session this year, held today, December 29, 2016 in Sarajevo, gave approval for the appointment of Ernadina Bajrović to the position of Vice Governor, for a second four-year term, starting January 1, 2017.

Vice Governor Bajrović has been with CBBiH since its establishment in 1997, in various positions, and will be responsible for the Administration and Finance Sector at CBBiH.

She has been working at the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1997, during the IMF engagement as an assistant to the first governor.

She then worked on the project of introducing the domestic currency (convertible mark), in the process of payment system reform in BiH, and capital market reforms. Since June 2001, she has been employed at CBBiH in the Governor's Office, as an associate for financial market issues, among other things responsible for the process of BiH's sovereign credit rating.

Since June 2004, she has worked as a senior expert associate in the Department for European Integration and International Cooperation. During 2006, on behalf of CBBiH, she was appointed as a member of the working group for the financial sector in negotiations with the EU in the process of preparations for signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement between BiH and the EU.

Since January 2007, she has been the head of the Human Resources Management Department, where, among other things, she manages technical cooperation with central banks. During 2010, she was the project manager of the international EU project "Strengthening Human Resources Management Capacity in the Central Bank of BiH".
