BAJRAM ŠERIF MUBAREK OLSUN!

(Patria) - Kurban-bajram, one of the two greatest holidays for Muslims, began this morning with the Bayram prayer.

Mosques across Bosnia and Herzegovina attracted a large number of believers.



The central Bayram ceremony was held in Sarajevo at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and the Bayram prayer was led by the Rais al-Ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović.

Reis Kavazović also delivered the traditional Bayram sermon.

Kurban-bajram lasts for four days. What is special about this holiday is the sacrifice – kurban – and the meat is shared with family, friends, and those with weaker financial standing.

The Patria News Agency wishes all believers a happy Eid al-Adha!
