(Patria) - Muslims around the world are celebrating Eid al-Fitr today.
The central Eid celebration of the Islamic Community's Riasat was held at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo, where the Eid sermon was delivered by reisul-ulema Husein-ef. Kavazović.
Eid al-Fitr is the holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting. Last night, with the evening prayer (Maghrib), the month of Shawwal (the tenth month of the Islamic calendar) began.
In mosques across BiH and the world, Muslims performed the Bajram prayer, thus welcoming the most joyous holiday for Muslims.
