Fairytale photos by Bihać native Maja Topčagić leave you breathless!

Young photographer Maja Topčagić was born in Bihać 25 years ago, and her photos leave you breathless, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

Her photos have graced numerous magazine covers, books, and have been published in the Italian edition of Vogue magazine, the American Popular Photography, as well as leading BH magazines.

She learned everything she knows about photography on her own. At 19, she received her first digital camera, which changed her life. Since then, photography has been her greatest love.

Although she graduated in mathematics and computer science, she never gave up photography. For her, mathematics and art are kindred spirits. She is more focused on artistic photography and female models.

- I try to make my photos fairytale-like and magical, so I choose models who have unusual facial features, natural beauty, and who radiate something that will attract the viewer's eye. I also write down my dreams, and sometimes I realize them – said Maja.

She also finds inspiration in films, books, ordinary people, conversations, or simply in the way she sees the world.

Numerous girls, women, and mothers have been in front of her lens, including Aida Đapo, the only vintage model, designer Nina Varga, as well as ordinary girls. Some of Maja's most famous photos are of red-haired girls with blue eyes. She pays special attention to them as well. She edits her photos using computer programs, where she spends up to ten hours a day.

Her biggest challenges are weddings and small children. As she says, it is a great responsibility when you are photographing someone's most important day in life.
