Bahilj, Lijanović and crew detained at SIPA premises

Milorad Bahilj, Federal Minister of Trade, who was arrested this morning in Mostar in a large-scale SIPA operation, has been transferred to the SIPA building where he will be questioned. Mladen Ivanković Lijanović, president of the People's Party Work for Betterment, was also brought in after him. Around 3:30 PM, Jerko Ivanković Lijanović, Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of the FBiH, was also brought to SIPA premises in handcuffs.

Arrested Jozo Slišković was also brought to the SIPA building. In the next hour, the arrival of other individuals detained by SIPA is expected, suspected of having damaged the BiH budget by 11.6 million KM through tax evasion. This is a joint operation of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, SIPA, and the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH.

Otherwise, by order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, an operation codenamed "Meso" (Meat) is being conducted in several cities, reports the Patria News Agency. This is one of the largest operations in the fight against organized crime and multi-million KM tax evasions.

In the "Meso" operation, facilities and companies owned or used by the suspects were searched:
