Avdić: Darijana Filipović is Čović's personal candidate to continue blockades

(Patria) - Journalist and editor of the Istraga.ba portal Avdo Avdić was a guest on the BHT1 Uživo show on BHRT today.

Among other things, he touched upon the HDZ BiH's decision today that MP in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and party vice-president Darijana Filipović will be a candidate for the BiH Presidency member from the Croat people.

- Anyone who has seen Dragan Čović's movements has also seen Darijana Filipović. She was at every one of his rallies, she was Dragan Čović's "first companion," and he has actually just found a new person there who will implement his policy - said Avdić.

According to him, Darijana Filipović is the formal, and Dragan Čović is the substantive candidate for the BiH Presidency member - "she is not a candidate of the HDZ or HNS, but Dragan Čović's personal candidate".

- He is aware that he is motivating the Bosniak population against himself, and why wouldn't he motivate them when he did all this in the past period, and then they come to a situation where they invent some Darijana Filipović who gives away jerseys to relatives even though her last name is not the same.

Then, when that candidacy is announced, the first news is about that jersey, and we also have pictures of her in a Croatian jersey, but let's not get into those cheering issues - this is about Dragan Čović's candidate - whatever her name is - Avdić believes.

He also commented on Čović's message to Bosniaks today that "they don't need to elect two members of the BiH Presidency".

- You have an electoral unit that is called FBiH according to the Constitution, and two members of the BiH Presidency are elected in it - one from the Croat and one from the Bosniak people, and everyone has the right to vote for whomever they want.

He calls on the Bosniak population not to vote so that Darijana Filipović would be a member of the BiH Presidency, and she is the candidate of Čović, who blocked the House of Peoples, prevented the SNSD's removal, ordered Borjana Krišto not to unblock the Council of Ministers.

Therefore, the candidate of a person who is keeping the entirety of Bosnia and Herzegovina blocked. Those who want a continuation of such a policy have a choice - Avdić points out.

He emphasizes that, just as it was certain that Darijana Filipović would be a candidate, it is also certain that the SDA candidate will be Bakir Izetbegović.

- Just as the party bodies decided for Čović, they will also decide for Izetbegović. He lost the last election because people were against him, not because they were for Bećirović.

Denis Bećirović has definitively shown that he is not up to the task of performing that function, Izetbegović has not managed to shed what his wife, his party, but also propaganda against him, has attached to him, and one needs to be objective here.

He has not managed to cleanse himself in these four years, every statement he makes brings hundreds of comments where people criticize him and show aversion to the SDA - states Avdić.

On the other hand, he repeats, is Denis Bećirović, who has shown that he is not up to that position.

- Most of the parties supporting him are not even parliamentary, but the SBB's defection could be a problem for him. Fahrudin Radončić will be a candidate and will probably take away some votes, around 30,000, but that won't be enough, and if Izetbegović is a candidate, Bećirović will be elected again.

The race is already over there because Bakir Izetbegović has not managed to cleanse himself, and Bećirović, however hated he may be, is not at the level of hatred as Izetbegović - added Avdić.
