Car hits pole in Malta, blocking tram traffic, several accidents occurred after track renovation

(Patria) - Due to a traffic accident that occurred this morning in Malta, where a vehicle hit a pole and blocked the tram line, tram traffic is interrupted.

Trams are running to the turning loop at Čengić Vila.

Otherwise, since the tram line was renovated, several accidents have already occurred at this location because the pole "hangs" and does not have a physical barrier around it, as it did before.

In June of this year, plastic red markers were placed to make it easier for drivers to turn.

However, the authorities should fence off this pole so that such accidents do not happen again.

In the photos, you can see how this pole was more easily visible because it was in a grassy semicircle, but now the situation is different, leading to accidents.
