Motorway in FBiH to get its own firefighters, assisting drivers in even the smallest incidents

Corridor 5C passing through the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will get a fire unit from December 1st next year, which will monitor the safety of drivers on this motorway 24 hours a day, following the example of the most modern world standards, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Members of this unit, whose numbers will increase as the number of kilometers of Corridor 5C increases, will be ready at all times to extinguish fires and to protect and rescue people and property on the territory of the A1 motorway on Corridor 5C.

This unit will be crucial in incident situations on the motorway, writes NAP.

JP Autoceste FBiH explains that firefighters and rescuers will be present on the motorway 24 hours a day, and units will be deployed at a distance of less than five kilometers in urban areas, and at a distance of 1.5 kilometers from tunnel portals, NAP reports.
