Bus hits pedestrian in Ilijaš

In the afternoon hours, around 6:30 PM, a traffic accident occurred on the Ilijaš - Sarajevo road in which a pedestrian was injured, reports a reporter for the BH News Agency Patria.

Although it was confirmed to Patria by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton that a GRAS bus hit a pedestrian, it turned out to be a Centrotrans bus.

- An investigation is underway at the scene and will be completed soon - said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

As our reporter states, due to the traffic stoppage, kilometers-long queues have formed, and it is expected that traffic may be reopened soon.

Otherwise, due to the rain, BIHAMK advises drivers to drive with maximum caution, regardless of weather and traffic conditions, and to maintain a mandatory distance between vehicles, Patria reports.

As announced by the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), the pedestrian sustained head injuries, a broken nose, and cuts to the head.
