Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen held a meeting with Bećirović and Komšić

(Patria) - President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen is on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and today he was welcomed in front of the BiH Presidency with military honors.

He was greeted by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović and member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić, and a tete-a-tete meeting was also held. Željka Cvijanović is not attending the meeting.

Yesterday, the Austrian President met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Elmedin Konaković, during which it was emphasized that efforts will be made towards a joint commitment to strengthening stability, deepening bilateral ties, and supporting BiH's European path. The Austrian President will also have meetings at the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH with members of the collegia of both houses of the BiH PA.

His participation in the Business Forum "Future Economic Prospects: Bosnia and Herzegovina–Republic of Austria" is also planned.

Van der Bellen will stay in BiH in the coming days, and he will also visit Mostar.
