
(Patria) - As part of her official visit to BiH, Austrian Minister of Justice Alma Zadić, accompanied by the Austrian Ambassador to BiH Georg Diwald and associates, visited the Constitutional Court of BiH today.
The Austrian delegation was received by the Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of BiH Valerija Galić and the Judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH Mirsad Ćeman, along with their associates.
Galić and Ćeman presented the Austrian delegation with facts about the constitutional position, organization, and functioning of the Constitutional Court of BiH under current circumstances.
Minister Zadić emphasized the importance of the role of the Constitutional Court of BiH, especially in the segment of protecting fundamental human rights. She pointed out the significance of the Constitutional Court's decisions in the legal system of BiH, as well as the importance of their implementation.
She also stated that the Government of Austria is fully committed to providing full support to the future work of the Constitutional Court of BiH. She welcomed the bilateral cooperation that the Constitutional Court of BiH has with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Austria.
