Asmir Begović signs for Milan

MILAN, (Patria) -

Asmir Begović has arrived in Milan for medical examinations where he will sign a contract with the seven-time European champions today.

Yesterday, sensational news was announced that the celebrated Bosnian goalkeeper will become a new member of one of the biggest clubs in the world, and Begović arrived for medical examinations this morning.

Begović arrives at San Siro as a replacement for the experienced Pepe Reina, who is already on his way to becoming a new member of Aston Villa, replacing Tom Heaton, who suffered a serious injury.

The Bosnian goalkeeper is arriving at Milan on a six-month loan from English club Bournemouth. Begović spent the previous half-season on loan at Qarabag.

Let's recall that Begović's contract with the Cherries is valid until the summer of 2021, but he is also expected to leave the south of England through a sale before its expiration.

The experienced goalkeeper will thus join another Bosnian national team player, Rade Krunić, who has been playing for the Rossoneri since the summer. It is also expected that young Bećir Omeragić, a very talented player from Zurich who played for the youth categories of Switzerland, will arrive at San Siro.
