Goalkeeper of the BiH national team Asmir Begović has given support to the organisation Remembering Srebrenica as part of the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica in Great Britain, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
- The city of Stoke-on-Trent has joined the campaign related to Srebrenica. It is good that people educate themselves about the past, that they learn what happened in other countries. It is also an expression of respect for what happened - Begović said.
He thanked everyone who joined the "Remembering Srebrenica" campaign.
- It means a lot to people in BiH, but also to Bosnians all over the world - Begović pointed out.
