AS Holding with Premium Halal Products at This Year's Halal Fair

The largest BiH food group has 1,082 halal products in its portfolio, a clear indication that it is keeping pace with the most dynamic global market, which records significant growth trends year after year and offers great development potential.

„The AS Holding Group, as the largest food group in BiH and one of the largest in the region, has recognised the imperative and benefits of implementing standard requirements in the area of product health safety, which includes the HALAL standard. It is currently certified in five of our member companies in different food sectors, with a total of 1,082 products. We proudly point out that we participated in this year's World HALAL Summit in Kuala Lumpur.

In line with the goals of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), to improve food safety systems, we continue to work on implementing GFSI schemes (GLOBALG.A.P., IFS,...) and establishing a common harmonised approach and principles of GFSI, which is „certified once, accepted everywhere“, stated Amela Semić from the Quality Assurance and Standardisation Directorate of AS Holding.

This year's host of the Halal fair is the company Klas, which ensured that loyal consumers and visitors can taste halal products from the companies that are part of AS Holding.
