AS GROUP exclusive distributor of Swity juices

Bosnia and Herzegovina's fruit and vegetable processor Swity d.o.o. has launched the first quantities of high-quality natural Vegafruit juices on the market, after successfully restarting production. Thus, Swity orange, apple, blueberry, sour cherry, and multivitamin juices will be available on the shelves in new 1L Tetra Pak packaging, and the distribution of Swity juices in 200ml glass bottles has already begun, reports Patria News Agency.

The director of the new company Swity d.o.o., Haris Salihbašić, who is now the owner of the Swity, Vegy, Fruby, and Vegafruit brands, said that this is a kind of comeback for the Vegafruit and Swity brands.

- After production ceased, AS GROUP took over the exclusive distribution of all our brands at the end of last year. This was followed by the re-establishment of our cooperative network, which includes 5,000 local fruit and vegetable producers, from whom Swity juices are mostly produced. Thanks to the fact that a giant like AS GROUP stood behind us, we managed to regain the trust of suppliers, workers, and cooperants in a short period. Now everyone wants to work with us - Salihbašić stated.

The Swity brand was created in 1994. A team of experts with previous experience in the renowned company Bosanka Doboj created top brands and one of the most successful Bosnian and Herzegovinian companies at the time. The production of Tetra Pak juices was launched in 2002, and already in 2004, the market share in the Tetra Pak juice category in Bosnia and Herzegovina exceeded 20%.

- Swity is produced according to the original traditional domestic recipe. Our goal is to regain Swity's position in the domestic market, develop sales through exports, but also to launch domestic production of indigenous fruit varieties by further expanding the number of cooperants in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Only fresh fruit and vegetables are used for the Swity brand; all juices are without preservatives and sweeteners, because most of the sweeteners found in products marketed in our country are not suitable for consumption and some of them are banned in the EU - Salihbašić said.
