Arnaut finally gets an answer: Galić's priority is still the western border

(Patria) - Naša stranka MP Damir Arnaut has finally received an answer from the Border Police regarding the exact number of prevented illegal entries into Bosnia and Herzegovina. The thesis that the western border is more protected than the eastern one has been confirmed in this response.

„In the period from January 1 to December 14, 2020, a total of 10,952 persons were deterred from attempting illegal entry into BiH directly at the border line (7,276 persons at the border with Serbia, 3,473 with Montenegro, and 203 with Croatia). In addition, during 2020, 10,852 persons were prevented from illegally crossing the state border on exit from BiH towards Croatia,“ the Border Police response states.
Incidentally, the head of the Border Police in his second term is Zoran Galić, who is close to the HDZ, and several incidents that occurred on the territory of BiH when Croatian border guards entered BiH armed have not been resolved. 

“Such news is rare. In any case, such things are much rarer than the almost constant announcements of the BiH Border Police that they have stopped hundreds of migrants from entering Croatia from BiH. The BiH Border Police, at least according to media reports and its own boasting, is much more engaged in protecting the border of the Republic of Croatia than in protecting the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina,“ Arnaut said earlier.
