Arminka Helić is a lesson for the government that must dedicate itself to the people!

Dr. Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, extends his sincerest congratulations to Arminka Helić, advisor to British Foreign Secretary William Hague, who has been appointed a baroness by decision of the British Queen.

- I wholeheartedly congratulate Arminka Helić on the recognition and honor bestowed upon her by the British crown and the public. Bosnia and Herzegovina must be proud of its children who elevate its reputation in the world in this way - emphasizes Dr. Cerić.

This is an opportunity, he believes, to once again emphasize the necessity of comprehensive reform of the system and society in our country, where, unfortunately, the immense human and intellectual capacities are insufficiently valued, and only abroad do they manage to achieve results and even fame. In their own country, they are hindered by a whole range of factors, from an inefficient system burdened by bureaucracy and nepotism, injustice, corruption, to a poorly organized education system, lack of material incentives, misunderstanding and non-acceptance of ideas and projects that would benefit everyone.

- Arminka Helić is a reminder and a lesson to everyone in this country that the authorities should finally pay more attention to the people, the problems and prosperity of those who elected them, rather than their own narrow interests. This country is rich in natural resources, culture, tradition, history, and most of all, people. It is only sad that we have to seek happiness, prosperity, and even fame outside of it. This must change - believes Dr. Cerić.

Arminka Helić, originally from Gračanica, achieved particular results as an advisor to the Government of the United Kingdom on preventing sexual violence in conflicts, as stated in the explanation by Queen Elizabeth II regarding her appointment as a baroness.

Helić, a member of the British Conservative Party, is also considered one of the 100 most influential members of that party.
