Arf cleans dirt, but cannot clean four years of bad governance and wrong policies

(Patria) - The current mayor of Sarajevo and candidate for the mayor of Novo Sarajevo Municipality, Benjamina Karić, has started her election campaign for the Local Elections. No different from her usual way of acting – populist.

Karić boasted about a slightly different approach and emphasized that she decided to start her campaign by cleaning the Vraca Memorial Park.

The Mayor of Sarajevo, as well as her colleagues from the 'Trojka' (Trio), obviously thinks that we all have "short memories", so that the humiliation of our fellow citizens with daily farces and photoshopped representations of distorted reality can go unnoticed.

And we shouldn't be surprised that someone is manipulating the people, but what is very irritating is the level of audacity with which it is done. Because, the citizens of Sarajevo have witnessed four years of a bad concept of governance in the municipalities of Novo Sarajevo and Centar, as well as in the City Administration.

Namely, in 2021, Benjamina Karić proposed and promised something she did not fulfill. And in that year 2021, together with Hasan Tanović and Srđan Mandić, she "cleaned" the Vraca monument in a project that was not realized.

At that time, the Mayor of Sarajevo announced that after obtaining the necessary approvals, she would propose to the City Council that this memorial park – an open-air museum of inestimable value, be joined to the Public Institution Museums of the City.

"The complex at Vraca has its symbolism, beauty, and importance, and it is high time we revived one of the greatest symbols of citizens' resistance and struggle against fascism.

Together with the respected mayors, Mandić and Tanović, we will initiate the reconstruction and show future generations what their ancestors fought for," Karić emphasized, expressing gratitude to KJKP "Park", which immediately expressed its readiness to participate in the project.

Today, the Mayor is AGAIN promising some cleaning, but in reality, the only thing that is clean in this case is DECEIVING the citizens for the purpose of an election campaign that should have been different from others.
