We may not submit the EU membership application in January, but it could happen by June

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović said he is not sure that BiH will submit the EU membership application by the end of the month, but it is realistic to expect that it will happen during the Netherlands' presidency of the European Union, which is in the next six months, Patria reports.

Šarović said that when it comes to submitting the application for BiH's admission to the EU, it is better for BiH to coordinate these activities with Brussels and follow their instructions.

Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Čović previously announced that Bosnia and Herzegovina would submit the application for EU membership in January, but that deadline will most likely be extended, NAP reports.
