SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Kalabuhov categorically rejected in a statement to Srna the "misinterpretation of the policy" of his country in BiH, emphasizing that he does not accept the fact that Washington precisely reserves the "exclusive right to, often rudely and arrogantly, sometimes behind the scenes, impose its will, manipulatively and aggressively portraying Russia as the main threat to peace", N1 reports.

Reacting to the statement made today by the US Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy that during his stay in BiH he will work on countermeasures against Russia and China, which he claims threaten the future of BiH, Kalabuhov emphasized that he does not think this American diplomat is his professor to whom he must take an exam and who determines certain "red lines" for the Russian ambassador.

"But in fact, Murphy seems to consider himself Zarathustra, and every time the American ambassador opens his mouth, pearls of wisdom fall upon us. If my statements to Ambassador Murphy are 'deeply problematic', then he must look for the sources of such concern within himself. And if he considers my statements 'stupid', then perhaps he does not have enough mental capacity to assess them," said the Russian ambassador.

According to him, the US has its interests in BiH, but Russia also has interests in BiH, which it considers a historically close country.

"And we do not intend to look back at the opinion of the US Ambassador in the realization of our interests, primarily aimed at developing and deepening mutually beneficial and friendly relations with BiH," added Kalabuhov.

The US Ambassador to BiH Murphy said today that during his stay in BiH he will work on countermeasures against Russia and China, which he claims threaten the future of BiH. Murphy believes that the statements of the Russian Ambassador to BiH are "deeply problematic".
