(Patria) - It is anti-civilizational, dehumanizing, and inhuman to say "Israel never accepted that the crime in Srebrenica be called genocide," states the reaction of the Institute for Research on Genocide Canada.

"Denying the genocide in Srebrenica is a radically inhuman and utterly vile concept. Today, more than ever, it is necessary to form and strengthen historical awareness of the genocide in Srebrenica.

The ambassador must know that we all have a duty to prevent the reawakening of terrifying criminal spirits. Therefore, instead of denying the genocide in Srebrenica, we call for action against hatred to successfully combat all forms of discrimination and oppression, to show the world that the criminal has no chance. Let us stand up for the human rights and human dignity of the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica, against the denial of genocide and against the glorification of convicted war criminals. Because the campaign to deny the genocide in Srebrenica has turned into open celebration of the perpetrators and masterminds of the genocide. Denying the genocide in Srebrenica, denying historical and judicial facts, and glorifying war criminals is a violation of all universal declarations and resolutions of the United Nations.

The IGK tells the ambassador that denying the genocide in Srebrenica is not an opinion, but a phase of genocide. The genocide in Srebrenica is the worst crime in Europe after World War II because it represents a crime of such scale and gravity that it shocks the conscience of humanity and demands universal condemnation and punishment.

The victims face a long march of truth, culture of remembrance, and justice in the name of the victory of the global institutionalization of the culture of remembrance of the genocide in Srebrenica through the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, in the name of defeating the animal animosity, repression, and brutality that lurk in the human mind.
