Polls and petitions: Citizens absolutely against closing of General Hospital Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš

In a FACE TV poll during Saturday's edition of Centralni dnevnik with Senad Hadžifejzović, the question was asked: Are you in favor of merging the General Hospital and the Clinical Center?, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

4% voted YES, and 96% of citizens voted NO.

More than 6,900 signatories of an online petition are also against the merger of these two hospitals, expressing outrage and dissatisfaction in numerous comments that this idea has already begun to be implemented, even though there are no formal legal conditions for it, nor have the founders, in this case the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton and the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, made any decision. However, no one wants, will, or dares to prevent the arbitrary actions of the former director of the General Hospital, Sebija Izetbegović, and now the director of the Clinical Center of Sarajevo, who was elected while she was still the director of the General Hospital.

- Shame... How do individuals give themselves the right to destroy state property.

- I am not from Sarajevo, but I see how much this hospital means to the citizens of Sarajevo. I think twenty years of someone's arbitrariness is too much.

- It is high time to say STOP!!!

- One is left speechless by such news; instead of opening another hospital, they are closing this one.
