Andorra and Wales fined, no points deduction

The UEFA Disciplinary Committee has made a final decision on the method and amount of punishment for the football associations of Andorra and Wales following the disturbances that marked the end of the match between these two countries in the first round of qualifications for Euro 2016, reports the Patria News Agency.

UEFA has decided that Andorra will be fined 10,000 euros for poor organization of the match, while Wales has been fined 5,000 euros for an incident involving their fans. However, it was previously speculated that points could be deducted, but in the end, this did not happen. We remind you that BiH is in the group with Andorra and Wales for the EP qualifications.

Let us recall that Andorra and Wales had a 1:1 draw until the 81st minute when Bale, with his second goal of the match, turned the score in favour of the visitors, and then Wales fans, in the excitement of celebration, ran onto the field to celebrate the goal and the lead.
