Amir Bekan: Milorade, I challenge you to a duel of giants

Following the latest provocative and tasteless statements by Milorad Dodik, from whom it is difficult to expect that in these final days of the election campaign he will not again start his old rhetoric and demagoguery of divide and rule, as SDA and HDZ have been doing for the past 20 years, I could no longer remain silent, but I want to finally say ENOUGH, said the president of the First Party, Amer Bekan, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- I am addressing him publicly like this and telling him that Milorad Dodik is not the people of RS. He is just an individual who has only fought for personal interest so far, and before the elections, he remembers his people. Until now, he was a good man and a bad politician, and if he doesn't stop with this same empty talk as before, he won't even be a man anymore. The time has come for him to step down from his throne and let the young and capable prove what they can do. I am aware that Tadić (Ognjen, note) is not much of a competition for him, so why doesn't he prove it to the whole of BiH and RS in a duel, and let the people decide who is better for RS and leave BiH and RS alone, because he is not the one who decides for over a million Serbs in BiH - the statement reads.

- Milorade, come down among the people, walk around the city, stop by the market and ask the people how and where they can afford a kilo of lemons or meat. Milorade, RS is not just in Banja Luka, but also in Trebinje, Bijeljina, Šamac, Srebrenica, Foča, the people are hungry, and you don't even see it - said Bekan.

- No one will abolish RS from Sarajevo, Mostar, or Brussels. The people will abolish it, dear Milorad, when out of hunger, to feed their child, they start stealing from others on the street. Be a man and guarantee in writing that you will fulfill everything you promised, that you will not touch BiH and RS, that you will respect all the peoples living in RS, because you yourself have seen that in difficult times that have befallen all of BiH, people did not ask who you are or where you are from, but helped. It is time for humanity and compassion to rule this country, not nationalism and arrogance - it was stated.

If you have a problem with masculinity, I challenge you to a duel, to a clash of giants, because I am also 191cm tall, weigh 150 kg, and wear size 47 shoes, as you always boast, so let's see who will do more for the people in RS and BiH. I don't need Erdogan or Putin, just the will of the people for someone to finally work for them. When the people live happily and contentedly, believe me, they will not be interested in who their president is or what his name is. Prove that you are a man and that you will be a true president for the people of RS – and I will, if necessary, vote for you or withdraw with dignity and prove that you are a man - the statement concluded.
