US Ambassador: Dodik is the biggest threat to peace in BiH

(Patria) - US Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy commented on his relationship with the SDA in the show Pressing on N1 television tonight, stating that the US continues to cooperate with that party.

- Look at what happened in 2014, 2018. What was achieved? What progress? Where is the former Prime Minister of FBiH, he is in prison!?

The biggest threat to peace in BiH is Dodik, his secessionist policy and activities. That is what the international community has said, that is the problem.

If there is no change with Dodik, SNSD, their approach - there will be no European future for BiH. They must sit down, change their rhetoric and activities - says Murphy.

He also points out that the foreign policy of the USA is not personal, although everyone mistakenly thinks it is.

- What is important are the sovereignty, integrity, and multi-ethnic character of this country, a government that is accountable at all levels, the implementation of reforms, the economy, these are our policies.

I represent the President of the USA, my job is to implement these policies. My predecessor did that, and my successor will do that too.

I have nothing personal against any politician here, the problem is that everyone wants to find excuses for their own problems and challenges. They do this by blaming someone else, they don't want to be blamed. Someone else is always to blame - said Murphy.

He also points out that they have never stopped cooperating with the Party of Democratic Action.

- Izetbegović lost the elections, very clearly, and by a significant margin. We are still cooperating with the SDA, we have not stopped.

Our engagement and our interest is to implement the policies I have described. We had good relations with the SDA in the past, and we still cooperate with municipalities where SDA mayors are - concluded Murphy.
