The U.S. Embassy in BiH commented on Twitter regarding the gross violation of media freedoms and the police search by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton at the editorial office of the portal klix.ba, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
- Freedom of the press is of key importance and any attempt to prevent journalists from doing their job is unacceptable. #klix#BiH - it is stated on Twitter.
Numerous public figures, political parties, and media outlets today condemned this search of the klix editorial office, as well as the blocking of journalists who had no access to computers and communication tools for hours.
