US Embassy congratulates Armed Forces Day of BiH: Together we are stronger!

(Patria) - The US Embassy in Sarajevo sent a congratulatory message to all citizens on the occasion of Armed Forces Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Since its formation, the Armed Forces of BiH, a multi-ethnic team of professionals, patriots who have served at home and abroad with excellence and honor, have represented the best of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The United States has been a long-standing partner of the Armed Forces of BiH since their founding.

No country is more committed to supporting BiH and its Armed Forces than the United States.

Our strong partnership, forged through years of close cooperation, extends from the founding of the Armed Forces of BiH, through the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan, to continuous training, right here in BiH, through which we mutually strengthen our capacities to support regional security and make the Armed Forces of BiH a valued NATO partner.

The United States remains a committed partner to the Armed Forces of BiH and will continue to provide support to BiH and its Armed Forces in their efforts to secure their place in the Euro-Atlantic community of countries and institutions where it rightfully belongs.

Through our political advocacy and efforts to advance reforms, our security assistance programs, military cooperation with the Maryland National Guard, and investments in professional education of soldiers, we are dedicated to helping the Armed Forces of BiH progress on the NATO path, because we are truly stronger together," the Embassy stated.
