Amer Bekić signed a three-year contract with FK Sarajevo

Twenty-two-year-old striker, Amer Bekić, signed a contract with Football Club Sarajevo and will wear the burgundy jersey for the next three years, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

This former youth national team player, who played for the U-19 and U-21 selections of Bosnia and Herzegovina, did not hide his satisfaction with signing the contract.

- I feel fantastic. Sarajevo is a big club and I am very happy and satisfied to have become a player of this club - said Amer Bekić.

Bekić expects the club to win trophies in the coming years and that he will contribute.

- I came to score goals - said Bekić, who emphasized that he looks forward to playing in front of the "Horde zla", i.e., the fans of the Burgundy club.

Amer Bekić joins Sarajevo from Zrinjski Mostar, and last season he scored ten goals. Interestingly, it was Bekić who scored the only goal for Zrinjski in the home defeat against Sarajevo, in the semi-finals of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup, when the Burgundy club celebrated with a score of 3:1 in the city on the Neretva River.

Bekić previously played for Sloboda Tuzla, the club where he took his first football steps.
