Amel Tuka qualifies for the European Indoor Championship final

(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's best athlete Amel Tuka has qualified for the 800-meter final at the European Indoor Championship in Glasgow. He finished third in the semi-final race in the first semi-final group, with a time of 1:50.41.

Tuka started slower and was trailing in the early stages of the race, but as time went on, he gradually moved up to better positions. Tuka finished the first 400-meter lap in fifth place, and then ran the second 400 meters even better, finishing third at the end of the race. The first place went to Alvaro de Arriba with a time of 1:50.12, while Andreas Bube from Denmark was in second place, six hundredths of a second slower than the leader. Our Amel Tuka finished the race with a time of 1:50.41. 

The final is scheduled for Sunday at 7:57 PM.
