French Ambassador Visits First Rural Family Home in BiH

French Ambassador Claire Bodonyi will visit the first Rural Family Home in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, July 31st at 11:00 AM. The home was officially opened last month in the local community of Gračanica, municipality of Živinice, under the name Rural Family Educational Center Živinice (PREC Živinice), reports the Patria News Agency.

This center was opened in partnership with the Federation of Rural Family Homes of the Rhone-Alpes region and the National Union of Rural Family Homes of France, and a cooperation agreement was signed with a BiH delegation of farmers from Tuzla and Živinice.

This is the first such center in the Balkan countries, aiming to educate young people and the elderly in the development of family production and knowledge acquisition (vegetable cultivation and agricultural production management), while working to improve the image of this profession and attract young people to educate themselves in this sector.
