Turkish Ambassador visits Ferhadija and Arnaudija mosques

Today, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH, Cihad Erginay, visited the Ferhadija and Arnaudija mosques in Banja Luka, reports the Patria news agency.

As part of the visit, the ambassador met with the mufti of Banja Luka, Dr. Osman-ef. Kozlić.

The ambassador and the mufti toured the site of the Arnaudija mosque. They were informed about the ongoing works on the Arnaudija mosque by Prof. Dr. Muhamed Hamidvić, dipl. ing. arch.

After the visit to Arnaudija, the ambassador and the mufti also visited the Ferhadija mosque, where they were informed about the final construction works in the courtyard of the Ferhadija mosque, as well as the remaining works on the interior painting of the Ferhadija mosque.

Following the tour of the aforementioned mosques, a brief presentation of the Arnaudija mosque reconstruction project in Banja Luka was held in the premises of the Islamic Community Council of Banja Luka. At the end of the visit, the mufti thanked the ambassador for the continuous monitoring of the final works on the Ferhadija mosque, it was announced by the Riyasat of the Islamic Community in BiH.
