Turkish Ambassador to visit Ferhadija Mosque

The Turkish Ambassador to BiH, Cihad Erginay, is staying in Banja Luka, and as reported by a Patria News Agency reporter from this city, Erginay will visit the Ferhadija Mosque at 2 PM.

We remind you that on the night of September 12-13, 2014, after the semi-final match of the Basketball World Cup, in which the Serbian national team played, vandal attacks occurred on the Ferhadija Mosque in Banja Luka.

Ambassador Erginay will be accompanied by Ramiz Salkić, Vice-President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

At the time, the metal protective fence around the Ferhadija Mosque was damaged. The perpetrators threw pieces of asphalt at the fence and the mosque.

- Bosniaks in Banja Luka are outraged by the frequent attacks on them and on the property of the Islamic Community in this city - stated the Mejlis of the Islamic Community Banja Luka.
