US Ambassador Nelson congratulated Kordić on his election as Mayor of Mostar

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina today called the Mayor of Mostar, Mario Kordić, to congratulate him on his election and express hope that his administration will reach an agreement with all parties so that they can jointly enact common-sense reforms that will improve the lives of all citizens of Mostar.

This was announced on the official Twitter account of the US Embassy.

We remind you that Kordić (HDZ) was elected Mayor of Mostar two days ago, in the third round of voting.

Compared to his opponent Zlatko Guzin from the Coalition for Mostar, he won one more vote, specifically 17 votes, while Guzin received 16 votes. Two votes, from Irma Baralija and Boško Ćavar from Naša stranka, were invalid.
