Ambassador of Qatar to BiH visits DCPB

Ambassador of Qatar to BiH Rashid Mubarak Al-Kawari visited the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH today, where he met with the Director of the Directorate Mirsad Vilić and his deputies Uroš Pen and Milo Jurić, it was announced from the DCPB, reports the Patria News Agency.

Director Vilić welcomed the ambassador, given that this is his first visit to the Directorate, and informed him about the legal responsibilities of the Directorate, as well as the activities that marked the previous period. He particularly emphasized the modalities of work of police officers responsible for the security of VIP persons and facilities. He also stressed the importance of international operational police cooperation with international partners, which takes place daily through the Directorate. 

Ambassador Al-Kawari thanked for the professionalism of the Directorate's police officers who were responsible for securing the visit of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani. He emphasized that the police officers showed exceptional expertise, which contributed to the visit proceeding smoothly and safely.

The interlocutors also discussed modalities for improving the existing cooperation, which are reflected in the organization of study visits for police officers of both countries, all with the aim of exchanging experiences and best practices in performing police duties, the statement said.
