
(Patria) - Head of the BiH Mission to NATO, Ambassador Vanja Filipović, today presented his credentials to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels.
During the meeting with the NATO Secretary General, Filipović emphasized the importance of the organization for BiH, NATO's commitment to our country's reform path, particularly highlighting the NATO Defence Capacity Building package, with the aim of strengthening BiH capabilities and bringing them closer to NATO standards.
The symposium "NATO and Partners 360", which will be held in October this year in Sarajevo, was also discussed as an important event and a good continuation of already held activities.
Stoltenberg emphasized that NATO strongly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and reiterated the stance that NATO's door is open.
He added that NATO will continue to provide support to Bosnia and Herzegovina through enhancing political dialogue and practical cooperation with the aim of supporting reforms and security, stating that NATO appreciates Bosnia and Herzegovina's contribution to our common security.
