Ambassador Ferguson: I don't make up bedtime stories for my children, I just read them fairy tales from RTRS

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The British ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edward Ferguson, said he doesn't have to make up stories for his children, but instead reads them fairy tales from RTRS. 

"I don't have to make up bedtime stories for my children. Instead, I just read them fairy tales from RTRS," Ferguson wrote on his Twitter profile, thus commenting on the news from that public service in the BiH entity of Republika Srpska that "British soldiers disguised as eavesdroppers are coming to BiH," reports the Patria agency.

RTRS today published a news item under the headline "British soldiers disguised as eavesdroppers are coming to BiH," in which it is emphasized that EUFOR also confirmed the arrival of 40 British soldiers in BiH. They recall the writing of the British newspaper "The Times," which earlier reported that British soldiers are coming to BiH to prevent alleged Russian interference in the October elections. That news was quickly denied. 

"It is about the fact that people of that caliber are coming to BiH, intelligence officers disguised as soldiers who will work on eavesdropping, surveillance, and creating information, serving information to the media, knowing how military services work," said the president of the BiH entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, criticizing the member of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanić, for not taking any action on this issue.

The British Embassy in Sarajevo earlier denied that British soldiers are coming to BiH to prevent Russian influence in the country.
