Ambassador of Austria to BiH visits Municipality of Ilidža and Mayor Memić

Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina Martin Pammer paid a working visit to the Municipality of Ilidža today, the 9th, and was hosted by the mayor of this municipality, prof.dr. Senaid Memić.

During the visit, the mayor and his associates informed Ambassador Pammer about the development and plans for the further progress of this local community.  

Investments, education, culture, tourism development, and opportunities for cooperation between Ilidža and Austria were discussed.

- It is important that Ilidža becomes more beautiful than it was, that we strive to make it a world destination, that we take care of the population and their needs. The elections showed that people appreciate what we do, and we say that we can and must do even better - said Mayor Memić, among other things.

H.E. Pammer expressed his satisfaction with the presented content and his hope that good cooperation will continue in the future, as Ilidža has a lot of Austro-Hungarian heritage that is being preserved.
