Ambassador Alkalaj: Bosnia is etched in President Biden's heart

(Patria) - President of the United States Joe Biden expressed full
support for Bosnia and Herzegovina in a meeting with BiH Ambassador to the US and head of the
Diplomatic Club of the Institute for Geopolitics, Economics and Security
(IGES) Sven Alkalaj, during the presentation of credentials at the White House
on June 30, 2023.

Ambassador Alkalaj informed President Biden about the current situation
in Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized that developments require the most urgent
attention.

"President Biden said that BiH has been etched in his heart for many years,
and he underscored that certain steps will be taken for its
improvement in the coming period," the IGES announced.

Alkalaj was appointed ambassador to the US on the proposal of Željko Komšić. He previously served as ambassador to the UN.
