SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The United States Embassy congratulated March 1, Independence Day of BiH, via social networks.
"We remain committed to a strong partnership and friendship with Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens, supporting its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and we look forward to strengthening the relationship between our two countries in the years to come," stated the US Embassy.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated on March 1 every year, commemorating BiH's independence. Adult citizens of the then SRBiH voted on the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a referendum held on February 29 and March 1, 1992.
