US Embassy: America welcomes European Council decision, BiH belongs to the Euro-Atlantic community

(Patria) - The United States welcomes the European Council's decision to open accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to a post on the US Embassy in BiH's X account.

"This is an important milestone in BiH's history and a key step toward securing the place it belongs in the Euro-Atlantic community of nations.

The United States will continue to support the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and multi-ethnic character of Bosnia and Herzegovina and help it advance towards membership in the European Union," it was stated.
