U.S. Embassy condemns anti-Dayton laws of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska: Abandon undermining Dayton and the constitutional-legal order of BiH

(Patria) - The U.S. Embassy in BiH issued a statement tonight, condemning the laws adopted last night by the National Assembly of RS and assessing them as unconstitutional and contrary to the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"As the State Department spokesperson has already said, we will decisively oppose all actions by domestic political leaders that threaten the security and stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We mean what we said. We condemn the unconstitutional and anti-Dayton legislation adopted last night by the National Assembly of RS.

We expect political leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina to immediately abandon activities that undermine the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional-legal order of BiH," the U.S. Embassy in BiH stated.
