US Embassy: It is up to the citizens to decide on the leadership of BiH

After USAID, the American state agency, as part of the "Vote or Suffer" campaign, released two spots about the current situation in BiH, stating that 600,000 people are on the verge of poverty, with more than half a million unemployed, a new spot has appeared on the popular "youtube" channel, reports the Patria News Agency.

The American Embassy in BiH, in a letter sent to our editorial office, states that it is up to the citizens to decide on the leadership of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- We want to emphasize that the United States of America strongly stands by the defense of the universal human right to freedom of expression. At the same time, we continue to support dynamic political debate among the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our goal is for citizens to participate in political processes by focusing on key issues and voting. We reiterate that the United States of America is not promoting any candidate or political party in these elections. It is up to the citizens to decide on the leadership of Bosnia and Herzegovina - said the US Embassy in Sarajevo.
