Aljoša Čampara officially joins People and Justice, SDA will be the loser

In the show Centralni dnevnik with Senad Hadžifejzović, the current Minister of Internal Affairs of the FBiH and Delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, Aljoša Čampara, officially announced his entry into People and Justice.

- I have now decided to join People and Justice. Everything started here. I believe that this is a party that can provide answers to all the questions with which I disagreed in the SDA. We must solve issues important to citizens, and there must be an alternative in the country, Ćampara said on the show.

He emphasized that he does not care what his role in NIP will be.

- Elmedin Konaković and I left the SDA when we were at our peak. We should all work to show that things can be different, and NIP has enough young and capable people for us to move in that direction. I will be where I can contribute the most, and positions are not important in the fight we want to wage, Čampara said.

His stance is that those who have not listened to the voice of the people will lose in the future. He meant the SDA, which, as he says, has already suffered a brutal defeat in Sarajevo.

- No one in history has ever won 17 to 18 thousand votes in a race for mayor, for example in Ilidža, as NIP candidates did, Čampara said.

Čampara also commented on his possible dismissal from the position of Minister of Internal Affairs, about which he wrote a letter to the SDA.

- I will not allow my name and position to be traded, nor for the SDA to give the position of FUP director to the HDZ from behind closed doors in order to dismiss me. I ask the SDA to dismiss me; they can do it in five minutes. It is possible that they are afraid that they will not be able to appoint a new minister, perhaps they are not sure if they have a majority in the FBiH Parliament, Čampara said.

He called on ministers from the SDA in the FBiH Government, if they have the courage, to reject the list for the independent police committee of the FBiH with him. If there is no courage for that, Minister Čampara will respect the legal procedure for police elections.

- They can agree for a Croat to be the Minister of Police, then the director of FUP would be a Bosniak. They can agree on anything, but they will not trade with me, Čampara stated.
