Alipašina and Svetozar Ćorović Street in Sarajevo Get a New Look

Workers of the public utility company „Park“ have renovated the green area along the promenade in Alipašina Street, announced the Municipality of Centar, reports the Patria news agency (NAP). At the same time, by the end of this week, the arrangement and asphalting of the branch of Svetozar Ćorović Street, located in the local community Pionirska dolina - Nahorevo, will be completed.

For the arrangement of Alipašina Street, and the section above Zetra to the Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium, the Municipality allocated around 31 thousand BAM. On this section of the street, 270 meters long, an iron protective fence was installed and new grass was planted.

On the other section of Alipašina Street, workers of „Park“ replaced damaged slats on benches, installed new benches, and placed 40 new waste bins.

With the completed work, one of the busiest city streets has gained a completely new shine, and the residents of Sarajevo a new promenade for rest and recreation.

The arrangement and asphalting of the branch of Svetozar Ćorović Street will be completed in the next five days. This project, which the Municipality of Centar finances with 200 thousand BAM, according to Mujo Topalović, site manager of the company „Grakop“, is largely finished, and it remains to lay asphalt on one section of the street.

In this street, 300 meters of pipes for storm sewage have also been installed. A 30-meter-long retaining wall made of concrete gabion elements was built, whose role is to prevent soil collapse from the nearby slope.

- With the asphalting of the branch of Svetozar Ćorović Street, residents of this part of the local community ''Pionirska dolina-Nahorevo'' will have a modernly arranged roadway 400 meters long and 3.5 meters wide. The preparation of the main project was entrusted to the public company ''Zenica'', while the company ''Coning'' from Sarajevo is in charge of supervision – announced the Municipality of Centar, reports NAP.
