Ali's son, whom Kušić cut with a saw: While criminals walk the city, prosecutors drink coffee!

Alem Omerhodžić, the son of Alija Omerhodžić, who, according to witness statements, was killed in the most brutal manner by the Republika Srpska Army criminal Rajko Kušić in the „Rasadnik“ camp in Rogatica during the Serbian aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, is outraged by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Prosecutor's Office of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton.

The indictment for the death of his father, as well as other Bosniaks, says Omerhodžić, was filed too late - only 20 or more years after his atrocities, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

The prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment on Wednesday against Rajko Kušić (born 1959 in Rogatica), who is charged with the most horrific crimes committed against the Bosniak population of Rogatica and surrounding areas from the end of May 1992 to the end of July 1995.

Kušić was the commander of the Rogatica Brigade and the First Podrinje Light Brigade of the VRS.

One of the most horrific crimes attributed to this monster is the murder of Alija Omerhodžić. He was captured by VRS soldiers and taken to the „Rasadnik“ camp in Rogatica, where Kušić slit his throat with a chainsaw, then cut his body into pieces, which he later threw into sewer pipes.

Just one day after the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against Kušić, journalists from the Bosnian news agency Patria spoke with the son of the murdered Alija.

- You know, nothing should be expected from a criminal except to kill people – Omerhodžić told Patria.

- But, I expected more from the Bosnian-Herzegovinian judiciary. It is sad that the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina files an indictment against him only after so many years, and also that indictments against many villains have not yet been filed. I am especially disappointed in the Prosecutor's Office of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton. I watch how those people (prosecutors) drink coffee all day long, while criminals walk freely around the country.

It is incomprehensible, says Omerhodžić, that a criminal like Kušić could be inaccessible to the judiciary all these years.

- That man comes to our country, crosses state borders, has contact with the police, the indictment should have been filed earlier, and he should have already been convicted – says Omerhodžić.

In the indictment filed against Kušić, the Prosecutor's Office proposes hearing 216 prosecution witnesses and expert witnesses, and the indictment is accompanied by extensive material consisting of 352 pieces of evidence. Given that Kušić is on the territory of Serbia, an international warrant has been issued for him, writes NAP.
