Sulejman Tihić, the president of SDA, will be remembered on the BiH political scene as a man of compromise and the "step by step" policy he always put into practice, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
From the moment he was elected president of this party at the SDA Congress held in 2001, he was one of the most important political figures in our country.
As a reminder, precisely at the SDA Congress in 2001, Alija Izetbegović, the first president of SDA, without any doubt, before the vote for the new president of this political party, called on delegates to elect Tihić as his successor.
"I will vote for Sulejman Tihić," Alija Izetbegović said at the time.
