Alešević for NAP: Criminal charges against people who are deliberately destroying the judiciary in BiH

(Patria) - Nermin Alešević, who uncovered the Potkivanje affair in which the president of the HJPC BiH, Milan Tegeltija, is one of the actors, has filed criminal charges against the top officials of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and several cantonal and municipal judicial institutions, Alešević confirmed for the Patria news agency.

In the explanation of the charges, Alešević stated that the accused, individually or jointly, knowing about the failures in court proceedings, allowed benefits for themselves and others, causing damage to the budget of the institutions in which they work.

"They allowed parallel cases, the opening of dozens of them, while obstructing those related to organized crime and corruption. They are not allowing the completion of prosecutorial cases by prosecutors, because the criminal octopus around Bobar Bank is unraveling," Alešević stated.

Alešević had previously reported to the Prosecutor's Office that several individuals, including Adnan Terzić and Amir Avdić, had taken out a loan from Bobar Bank in the amount of approximately two million KM, and had illegally pledged the Agrokomerc facility in Velika Kladuša as collateral, which is leased by Alešević, causing him business disruptions. Alešević reported the case to the Sarajevo Prosecutor's Office in March 2017. Two years later, the Prosecutor's Office has still not made a final prosecutorial decision on this case.

"I wanted to inform him about the situation in the judiciary, because when the Potkivanje affair and everything else happened, I came to realize that he is deliberately working to destroy the judiciary, and the judiciary is the foundation of a state," said Alešević.

He added that he is not against the institutions at all, but against the individuals against whom he is filing charges.

"It is not about the Prosecutor's Office of BiH as a whole, but about Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić," Alešević added.
