(Patria) - The Management Board (MB) of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS) held its 2nd regular session today, discussing eight agenda items concerning various issues significant for the regular functioning of this institution.
The issue of appointing the General Director of KCUS was also discussed.
The MB thoroughly analyzed the submitted working materials and received legal opinions, with particular attention paid to the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the Institution of Ombudsmen for Human Rights of BiH.
Based on these documents, the MB decided to annul the earlier decisions of the Provisional Management Board (PMB) regarding the appointment of the General Director and to continue the selection and appointment procedure.
This means that, in accordance with the Law on Ministerial, Government, and Other Appointments in FBiH, the Law on Healthcare, and the Statute of KCUS, prior approval will be requested from the Federal Minister of Health for the appointment of prim. doc. dr. Alen Pilav as General Director, who was the second-ranked candidate for this position.
If dr. Pilav receives the minister's approval, the final appointment will follow, thus concluding the appointment procedure and creating conditions for the stability of KCUS's management structure for a longer period, the KCUS press service announced today.
