(Patria) - After more than a year and a half of wrangling, the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo (KCUS) has a new director.
It has been unofficially confirmed for N1 from multiple sources that the federal Minister of Health, Nediljko Rimac, has given his consent for the appointment of Alen Pilav.
Let us remind you, his appointment was proposed by the new KCUS Management Board.
For months, Rimac refused to sign the consent for the top-ranked candidate, Ismet Gavrankapetanović, claiming he did not meet the requirements for the position.
The largest healthcare institution in BiH has been without a general director since November 27, 2023, when Sebija Izetbegović was dismissed from that position.
