Albin Kurti and Kosovo delegation pay tribute to murdered children of Sarajevo

(Patria) - Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, before today's meetings with Bosnian officials, visited the Memorial to the Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995 where the Kosovo delegation laid flowers and paid tribute.

“I started my visit to Sarajevo by laying flowers at the Memorial to the Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo, a place of profound sorrow and remembrance. During the Siege of Sarajevo (1992–1996), 1,601 children were killed as part of the broader atrocities committed by Serbian forces during the war in Bosnia. This tragic toll is marked here, reminding us of the innocent lives lost and the horrors inflicted on civilians,” Kurti said.

Kurti held a series of meetings with Bosnian officials, and in the afternoon he will address a session of the Association of Independent Intellectuals Circle 99, which will be held at the City Hall.
